Lets take a scroll back in memory lane to the year of 2010 , i was a 14 year old pre teen  going through a whole lot of awkward self adapting and discovery phases , and those were like worst of the worse things i could possibly go through at that time but little did i know that i was the edge of losing someone who've been the strong figure throughout my whole 14 year old life . The person i've always thought of as the pillar of my strength was under the knife . My father was told by his cardiologist that he was in need for a bypass surgery . As devastating it was for him to handle the news , it was for us too . Chances of my father surviving without the bypass surgery was apparently low and knowing how highly the expenditure were going to be just for the surgery added up to our worries . With all the struggles and the hassles my family and i had to go through . We were downright grateful that my father made it through his surgery .  My father heavy heartedly had to coughed up nearly RM80k to pay up to the private hospital for his surgery and during that time , any medical insurance and so forth was vaguely introduced to us . It could have been somehow smooth sailing for all us , if only my family and i weren't that ignorant to acknowledge the importance of having an insurance medical card and maybe we were a tad bit incredulous about the idea of owning an insurance medical card . On the contrary it would totally be beneficial to my father and definitely cover the full amount of his bypass surgery . Anyhow the reason of me allowing you to catch glimpse of one of my bitter memories is because now i want you to be crsytal clear about the neccessaties of owning a medical card and think ahead of the future , the possibilites of what unfortunate events that can happen . You know how the saying goes " An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure ". But now , syukur Alhamdulillah i finally have my own medical card from Ammetlife takaful incase if im in need of medical attention .
